What Is Isohexadecane ?
Isocetane is part of a group called isochain alkanes, a group of components with a single carbon chain. Their names reflect the length of the carbon chain, which in the case of isocetane is 16 carbons long. It comes in clear, colorless, odorless liquid form, and isododecane is another common skin care ingredient that is used in a similar way to isocetane.
Isocetane is an ingredient used in skin and cosmetic formulations. It is most commonly found in foundations, sun protection products, lip products, deodorants and antiperspirants, and makeup removers. Its main functions are as solvents, cleansers, skin conditioners, and texture enhancers
