What is Maltodextrin?
Maltodextrin is a starch derivative without free starch which is made from starch or starch by enzymatic hydrolysis, refining and spray drying.
Features: low degree hydrolysate of starch, DE value <20, with low sweetness, good solubility, easy digestion, good filling effect, good emulsification and other characteristics; Maltodextrin contains a large number of polysaccharides, in addition to calcium, iron and other beneficial trace elements and minerals, and can promote the normal metabolism of substances. It is widely used in beverage, frozen food, candy, cereal, dairy products, health care products and other industries, and can also be used in textile, daily chemical, pharmaceutical production.
