What is Guar Gum?
Guar gum, an extract of the legume guar bean, is a galactomannan commonly used as a food thickener.
Appearance is a free-flowing powder from white to slightly yellow, which can be dissolved in cold or hot water, and will form a gelatinous substance in contact with water to achieve the effect of rapid thickening. It is mainly divided into food grade and industrial grade (industrial grade used in oil fields).
